GOLIATH VOLLEYBALL HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
What is it: A High performance training program with structured weekly workouts tailored to the volleyball athlete. All training sessions are volleyball specific, designed to increase physical performance. There will be up to 5 training sessions a week, along with monthly physical testing, video analysis, nutrition seminars, and access to professionals in the fields of massage therapy, chiropractic treatment, sport- psychology, and more!
Curriculum: Many athletes need support on understanding the importance of strength training, and why it’s valuable in the sport of volleyball. Our mission is to educate our athletes so they have the confidence to continue training on their own with the guidance of our strength programs to further their physical development. Several topics will include mobility, athlete core training, the mechanics of the squat, deadlift, and several Olympic lifts, difference between concentric, eccentric and isometric loading, and jump/speed training.
